The special systems installation at the Sibley Hospital Cancer Center included the install of (5) operational treatment rooms for the radiology unit, working with systems vendors to install radiation equipment, and the install of 100,000 square feet of conduit in these areas to accommodate all systems controls, inner locks, and interfaces; all in a three month time frame.
The Sibley Cancer Center offers patients and their families a calm and private setting and a high level of patient care in their state of the art facilities. This project was recognized by The Washington Building Congress Craftsmanship for outstanding craftsmanship with awards for both Electrical / Power Generation, Distribution and Switchgear and Special Systems.
