Harlan Electric worked with Bell & Associates to completely demolish the original Austin Peay State University Governor's Stadium after the 2013 football season and built a new Governor’s Stadium on the same site for the opening of the 2014 football season.
The new Governors Stadium consists of four levels. The first level houses most of the offices and the dressing rooms, as well as a new training room. On the second level, there are meeting rooms and an additional weight room. The fans are located on level 3, and level 4 consists of new features and amenities including special designed club seating and skyboxes.
Harlan Electric completed all of the underground distribution and electrical work associated with this project on time and under budget in spite of the excitement and disruption created by the appearance of a massive sink hole engulfing a significant portion of one end zone and track area which included one of the electrical duct banks.
