McPhee Electric, Ltd. completed the electrical work for the CTCC Central Utility Plant for the State of Connecticut Office of Policy & Management. The 540,000 square-foot Connecticut Convention Center (CTCC) is the largest, full service convention facility between New York and Boston.
A $775 million economic development project that includes Hartford Marriott Downtown, Front Street-a retail and entertainment district and residential units. The Convention Center offers 140,000 square feet of exhibit space; a 40,000 square foot ballroom; 25,000 square feet of meeting space; and 2,339 attached parking spaces.
With McPhee’s Electrical expertise and experience, Capital City Economic Development Authority (CCEDA), the State of Connecticut Office of Policy and Management (OPM), and the Waterford Development Group revised the strategy to shape the development that is now the Connecticut Convention Center.
