McPhee provided turn-key management and labor for two distinct street lighting processes – repair and replacement. The work included both wholesale change out and ad hoc troubleshooting/resolution for more than 40,000 metal halide, low-cut-off fixtures.
The repair project included daily dispatch from the utility system via Mobile Data Terminals for on-demand work requests across a 17 town service territory.
Key Performance Metrics such as average days to work order close and daily backlog were regularly met and exceeded for the duration of the project. For the turn-key, town-by-town replacement projects, McPhee managed the overall data, routing, lighting inventory, logistics, wattage reduction process and exceptions reporting. Handheld data computers were utilized to calibrate field conditions and returned for updating in the utility master file.
